Job Description

Luxy Hair is looking for a Customer Experience "superstar" (part-time) who is interested in working regular weekly shifts, with the option to support occasional weekend day shifts (approx. 6-8 hours weekly for the 6 month contract).
The Customer Experience Specialist will support our CS team during a regular weekday shift, by responding to emails, automated chats, and social media messages, as well as ad-hoc administrative requests. Our ideal part-time team member for this role sees every interaction as a chance to make a difference, a chance to delight, surprise, or simply make someone's day! This team member will also need superb social intuition and knows when it's right to make an exception.
This is the perfect role for anyone with a flexible schedule who is confident working in a remote environment (post-secondary students, retired or semi-retired professionals, night-time/evening workers & more!).

Responsibilities & Duties


  • Provide amazing customer service and aim to achieve first-time resolution through email, social media, and our live chat feature.
  • Quickly solve problems on your own for customers any time deliveries, transactions and experiences don't go as intended.
  • Are familiar with hair extensions or are ready to learn about product ins and outs in order to offer the best advice and help customers find the best product for their needs.

Requirements

  • Working towards or in possession of a university or college degree in a related field or major, or 1-2 years of customer service experience
  • Genuine passion to connect and help people
  • Above-average written skills (English) and excellent ability to communicate
  • Strong self-discipline (as this role will be entirely remote), work ethic, ownership, and personal accountability
  • Experience working with Shopify and/or Gorgias helpdesk a plus
  • Able to consistently demonstrate the Luxy Hair core values through your actions, including transparency, ownership, feedback, solution oriented thinking, the ability to under promise and over deliver, learn, and have fun
